Welcome to MattyThinks
I’m Matt Triplett, a full-time Customer Resource Manager by day and a meaning-maker by night. After two decades in manufacturing, I now navigate customer relationships and operational systems. But when time and duty allow, I pour myself into this. MattyThinks is my passion project, my self-therapy, and my way of wrestling with the world. It’s a scream into the void for myself and my children. It’s for anyone else who chooses to join me in this personal corner of the web. One where you will not find unwanted advertising or bots influencing your internal conversations.
From Systems to Soul work
I’ve spent twenty years in aerospace and commercial manufacturing, learning the languages of precision, processing, and problem-solving. Beneath the metrics and meetings, I’ve always been drawn to deeper questions. Mysteries about time, legacy, and the quiet erosion of cultural values. Worries about the world as I observe it. Writing became a way of staying sane, staying honest, and most of all, staying human.
Philosophy with Calloused Hands
So, full disclosure: I failed English 9. I was sent to summer school. I was told I couldn’t read by friends and foes alike.
Now I craft essays that blend theology, economics, civic critique, and emotional truth. Although I still primarily use audiobooks to read. I have written about the irony of my early academics, about zoning laws and even my grandmother. Over the past few years, I find myself obsessed with market distortions and the moral architecture of Matthew 25. Each piece helps me uncover new aspects of my identity. I share them and all of myself for your judgment. I’ve come to believe the modern mind isn’t overworked. It’s under-purposed. And I believe writing is how we, as humans, keep what matters before it slips away like water.
What You’ll Find Here
MattyThinks, or the MattyVerse if you like, is not just a personal brand. It’s me wrestling with the wind and inviting you to share in whatever is harvested. It’s where we explore leadership, legacy, and the cost of comfort.
Here, we honor the builders, thinkers, and farmers who raised rebels. We challenge the algorithmic grindstones while advocating for liberty and the dignity of all image bearers.
If you’re tired of transactional noise and hungry for something real, you’re in the right place. Thanks for being here.
Together, let us shape the storm from the center.
