Love, in its purest form, is the most powerful force known to humanity.
It transcends the boundaries of reality, standing as a beacon that guides us through the complexities of existence.
For but only a moment can fury be our fuel. Caffeine only creates for today. One way or another, we all face tomorrow because of love. Apathy abounding bothered me enough to write. For my beloved reader I must confess this word love is something I know, but do so struggle to show.
Love is not merely an emotion. It is a choice, an action, and a commitment. This commitment defies the primal instincts of survival and security.
Do remember that Love is a verb, an action word. A choice we make. Once chosen, it should be seen in your eyes. Heard in our voice. Felt in our touch.
Throughout history, love has been the driving factor behind monumental acts of courage and sacrifice. Love has consistently shown its power. It inspires and transforms. This holds true from the ancient tales of heroic deeds to modern narratives of selfless acts. Even the worst of sinners went from zealous murder to the model apostle.
It is the unseen essence that binds us together, called by one poetic prophet, the crimson cord. Captured in the image of The Mother holding The Infant close, love creates a profound sense of belonging. This sense surpasses all other human experiences. It will also include a willingness to give, even if the cost is a great sacrifice.
How does one see love in action? It is revealed in the choices we make, day after day.
Where do our eyes linger? On fleeting distractions, or on those who need our presence?
What tone of voice reaches the ears of those closest to us? Does it carry warmth, patience, and understanding; or something else?
Who do we hold within the quiet chambers of our hearts? The ones we cherish? The ones we neglect?
Why does the expression of love demand effort? Because love is action and such things are not effortless. It as a choice must be intentional, shaped by sacrifice, attention, and the courage to act when words fall short.
None of us enunciate as we should. There are those better at this translation. Some of us like myself struggle deeply to translate its depth into tangible realities. Yet I believe all of us must strive to live as creatures of Love.
The pursuit of living as creatures of love is a painful adventure. The journey requires sacrifice and struggles. Nonetheless, we must undertake it if we choose to live at all. We honor the legacy of those who came before us. By doing so, we acknowledge their contributions. Building lighthouses for future generations to experience the informative beacon of love.
By doing so, we will find loved ones along the way.
